Quarter 1 Assignment summary:
What you should have handed in. Handed in Means you physically got your work together in an organized way and handed it to ME, THE TEACHER:
1) Project #1 BLOCK PRINT CARDS AND ENVELOPES: 12 OF EACH
IN A FOLDER WITH YOUR NAME ON IT YOU SHOULD HAVE HANDED IN 12 printed cards and 12 printed envelopes, even if you did not print them you should have constructed them and handed them in.
2) Project #2 Recycled Magazine Vase-flowerpot: You needed to have physically given me your vase with your name clearly on it and had a photograph taken of it-if you did not and there is no work evident I can not support a grade for a finished piece. I then would not have a photo of it for your scrapbook-journal.
3) Project #3 Ceramic Clay Pendant with Design: Between 10 to 14 pieces are required as you become better with practice; and some will break during firing or handling. You were required to construct neat discs of clay using the tools provided to embellish the clay with textures and symbols. Every piece must have your first and last initial and be gathered in a plastic baggie with your name on it for grading before firing. Wet work must be carefully wrapped in a bit of dry paper towel and added to the pieces in the baggie. No baggie, no grade.
4) Alternative Assessment: Scrapbook-Journal: You should have constructed a scrapbook with a decorated cover page and a 9 pre-printed worksheets, in number order, completed minus the photographs which you will get soon to paste in.
